Anybody seen the movie Swimming With Sharks? It’s basically about a guy in Llyod’s position who has to put up with the bullsh!t in the “industry.” Working for an agency doesn’t look fun!
Great movie. However, I liked Buddy Ackerman more than Ari Gold… not that we’re comparing but the first time I watched Entourage, I instantly thought of Swimming with Sharks. Especially Ari…
As a diehard fan of the show, they gotta call it quits. The character arcs are explored already, and running out of steam. Milking episodes with songs to fly by, and not a lot of plot developments like the twist and turns of season 2, and character moments in season 3.
No way…the last season wasn’t as good as say season 2 but it is still better than most shows out there. And you don’t know what this one will be like.
I agree than it is no longer as good as Seasons 1 & 2, but it’s hard to live up to those standards. They were such strong seasons. I do feel that Season 5 was the third best season of the series thus far though and that it started what I hope will be a major upswing after disappointing seasons in both parts of 3, and 4.
In my opinion, season 4 was the best. I just loved following the whole Medellin drama. Plus, the season premiere with the making of Medellin was AWESOME.
Season 2 was great, but it was also an experimental season. They were seeing where the could take these characters and what kind of stories they could tell and which would work. Then they applied those to season 3 which was fantastic.
Season 1 and 5 are the weakest. Season 1 focused too much on the lifestyle. And season 5, while good, just wasn’t as good as 2-4.
I thought Season 4 was pretty good, but I thought that there were too many pointless episodes that did nothing to contribute to the overall story line. Same way with Season 3, especially Part 2.
